How to make hair gel at home

Hair setting gel is a styling product used to hold the hair in place and create different hairstyles. It is typically a thick, gel-like substance that can be applied to the hair, and it dries quickly to provide a strong hold. Hair setting gel can be used on all hair types, from short to long, and is often used to create styles such as spikes, quiffs, slicked-back looks, and more.

Ingredients Used
Essential oils, 1 teaspoon of xanthan gum, 1 tablespoon of vegetable glycerin, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil, 1 cup of distilled water
Step 1: Mixing
In a small saucepan, combine the distilled water and xanthan gum. Whisk the mixture until the xanthan gum is completely dissolved. Add the flaxseed oil, honey, aloe vera gel, and vegetable glycerin to the saucepan. Stir the mixture well.
Step 2: Heat the pan
Heat the saucepan on low heat and continue to stir the mixture until it thickens into a gel-like consistency. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool.
Step 3: Storage
Add a few drops of essential oils (if desired) for fragrance and additional benefits. Pour the gel into a clean container and store it in the refrigerator.
