How to make vanilla cake?
Estimated time of making: 30 minutes
A cake is a type of baked sweet dessert made with flour, sugar, eggs, and butter or oil, and often contains additional ingredients such as fruit, nuts, chocolate, or flavorings. Cakes are often leavened with baking powder or baking soda, which causes them to rise as they bake. They are typically sweetened with sugar or honey and can be flavored with a variety of ingredients such as vanilla, chocolate, lemon, or coconut.
Cake tin, Bowls, Spoons, Spatula, wisk
2 cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, Milk 1 cup
Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
Step 3: Combine wet & dry ingredients
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Step 4: Bake
Fill the cake tin about 2/3 of the way full with the batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cake comes out clean. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
