Materials Required
- Cotton yarn
- Silk thread (same colour as cotton thread)
- Flat designer stone bead
- Scissors
Steps to Follow:
- Twist both the silk and cotton threads around two fingers for about 10-15 turns.
- Now tie a knot in the middle and trim the edges.
- Spread the threads to get a round shape like a flower.
- Tie a bead with the help of a cotton thread.
- Take cotton of the desired length to make a braid.
- Sew this braid in the middle of the rakhi to keep it from falling off.
- Your rakhi is ready to be worn by your brother!
