|Vanilla cake mix||1 box|
|Ingredients called for on cake mix box||As needed|
|Vanilla frosting||1 tub|
|Red food coloring||As needed|
|Blue food coloring||As needed|
|Black food coloring (or black gel food coloring or black fondant)||As needed|
1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
2. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box and pour the batter into two 9-inch round cake pans.
